Professional Consultation – Individual and Group

I provide consultation to other professionals seeking to learn or enhance their ability to utilize CBT and other evidence-based practices. Consultation may be in the form of 1:1 phone or in-person meetings, or a facilitated group. I have over 25 years experience consulting with psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed social workers, MFCC’s and other professionals.

I also provide schools, teachers, health care providers, and organizations with training and consultation focused on how to best help youth develop the tools needed to manage stress, anxiety and the many challenges they are facing.

Teaching and Supervision

I currently supervise pre-doctoral interns at Stanford University, in the School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. I have taught numerous courses at universities, including Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, the University of California, San Francisco, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine, Arizona State University, The California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant University and Menlo College. I continue to enjoy supervising pre- and post-doctoral trainees, teaching courses and single classes on topics related to youth mental health at the undergraduate and graduate level at universities, medical schools, clinics and organizations.

Research, Program Development and Program Evaluation

I have worked with teams of cutting-edge researchers on the development of community youth interventions and pediatric interventions and the evaluation of these programs, and published articles on the findings. I offer consultation on conducting research to develop and evaluate programs for youth to enhance their mental health and well-being.
